Kirby Smart and Georgia football are ranked No. 4 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll released Sunday, Nov. 16

The Bulldogs moved up a spot after its 35-10 victory over then No. 10 Texas, Georgia‘s sixth straight win.

Georgia (9-1) plays next against Charlotte (1-9) at 12:45 p.m. ET on the SEC Network on Saturday, Nov. 25. Charlotte has lost seven straight games including 28-7 to UTSA Saturday.

The Bulldogs moved up after No. 4 Alabama slid all the way to No. 10 after its 23-21 loss to Oklahoma.

Georgia won its third in a row against Texas since the Longhorns began SEC play last season.

“We believe in being physical. I mean, we get after it,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said. “We believe in what we do, we have a process. I don’t know that we’re doing anything different than anybody else. Other people say that their practices are similar to ours, but our kids believe in it. Our kids believe in down and dirty.”

Georgia was No. 5 in the Associated Press poll last week. The new AP poll will be released later Sunday.
