As the Washington Huskies look to round out their 2027 class with a few finishing touches, that hasn't deterred Jedd Fisch's coaching staff from also looking ahead to 2028.

Among the prospects who have received an early offer from the Huskies is three-star tight end Presley DeLance, a product of Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 19 tight end and No. 1 player in the state, and has received interest from all over the country.

He holds ten offers with Arizona, Boise State, Florida, Georgia, and Oregon, all among the programs in the mix for his services after he showed off his playmaking ability as a sophomore, recording 9 catches for 236 yards and a touchdown.

On film, DeLance spends a lot of time lined up at wide receiver, where he's given every opportunity to show off his athleticism. He's a crisp route runner with great speed in the open field, which allows him to blow by defenders and pick up significant yards after the catch.

While DeLance doesn't show off a lot of in-line blocking on his film, tight ends coach Jordan Paopao has shown to be a great developer of blockers. As he continues to add weight to his frame over his final two years of high school and at the next level, DeLance looks like he could turn into one of the more desirable prospects at the position on the West Coast.

The Huskies hold one commit in the 2027 class, three-star Zach Albright, and Paopao appears to be largely prepared to turn his attention to 2028 with a somewhat crowded position group. Washington is also firmly in the mix for the No. 1 tight end in the nation in the 2028 class, in-state five-star Tytan McNeal from Eastside Catholic High School.
