The Washington Huskies have made strong inroads at Florida powerhouse IMG Academy over the previous two recruiting classes.
Last December, UW signed highly-touted defensive back Ksani Jiles from the Bradenton-based program, which at the time gave Jedd Fisch and his staff a pair of former IMG Academy products with freshman wide receiver Raiden Vines-Bright also hailing from the same high school.
This past weekend, Jiles played host to a pair of four-star prospects from his prep alma mater. 6-foot, 160-pound cornerback Censere Gaylord, the No. 112-ranked recruit in the 2027 class based on 247Sports' rankings, and elite wide receiver Osani Gayles, the nation's No. 35 player, each made the cross-country flight from Florida to Washington for an official visit.
During a photo shoot, Jiles stood between the two current IMG Academy stars and later posted the photo on Instagram with the caption "Need both of them sticks on the squad. UW fans turn 'em up!" as a sign to both players and broadly how vital both are to the Huskies' 2027 class.

UW has already secured four receivers in this year's class already; Sumner (Wash.) Braylon Pope, Desert Edge (Goodyear, Ariz.) Zerek Sidney, Peoria (Ariz.) Dontay Tyson and Pflugerville (Tex.) Weiss Tre Moore. Yet still, when it comes to the way Gayles would impact the offense as a versatile receiver and potential skat-running back, there is more than enough room for all the talent to fit in Kevin Cummings' room.
Over the past two recruiting classes, the Huskies have secured seven four-star receivers, with Gayles being the eighth, should he choose to add his name to the '27 haul, as Fisch continues to build out the core of his offense through the high school ranks.
Defensively, Gaylord would be an equally pivotal impact to give secondary coach John Richardson and defensive coordinator Ryan Walters their premier boundary cornerback to pair with three-star Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapaowsin athlete Maurice Williams.
Similar to current Huskies' sophomore Dylan Robinson, who remains the highest-ranked cornerback (No. 140 overall by the 247Sports' Composite rankings in 2025) to sign with the program in the Fisch era, Gaylord is a plug-and-play caliber prospect.
UW sits at No. 17 in the country with 17 verbal commits in the 2027 class. If the Huskies can secure both IMG Academy products, it would put the class once again where Fisch aims every year: to be the best in school history.
