2026 Tennessee football preview: Cole Harrison

Redshirt sophomore tight end Cole Harrison enters his third season at Tennessee in 2026.

The 6-foot-5, 238-pound tight end appeared in five games for the Vols from 2024-25. He recorded one reception for 17 yards against New Mexico State on Nov. 15, 2025 at Neyland Stadium.

Harrison appeared in games against East Tennessee State, UAB and New Mexico State as a redshirt freshman in 2025. He played in games against Chattanooga and Kent State as a freshman in 2024, earning a redshirt.

Harrison is from Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo, California. He committed to the Vols over nine other Division I offers.

Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).

The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.
