Linebacker Olrick Johnson III commits to FSU

Florida State added its fourth commitment of the week on Thursday, adding linebacker Olrick Johnson III to its 2027 class.

The three-star prospect out of Kennesaw, Georgia announced his commitment on the Trench Mob Show.

Johnson III chose FSU over offers from the likes of Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Nebraska and NC State, having visited Tallahassee last week on an official visit.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound rising senior had 100 tackles, 14.5 TFLs, 12.5 sacks and one forced fumble last season for Harrison High School.

His father is former NFL linebacker Olrick Johnson, who spent three years in the NFL after playing for FAMU in college.
