If there's one unit or area of the roster Texas football is focusing on in their 2027 class, it's the defensive line. They've scooped up significant talent in their front seven and continued their success Friday by receiving a commitment from four-star prospect Jabarrius Garror.

Garror was down to Auburn, Georgia and Florida State in his final four before he ultimately decided to pick Texas. The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder from Mobile, Alabama, has been dominant when it comes to getting to the quarterback.

He posted 106 tackles and an astonishing 21 sacks as a junior last season at Vigor High School.

Garror has had an interesting recruitment journey the last couple of years, as he initially committed to Alabama in the summer of 2024 before reopening his recruitment this spring.
