Florida State lands three-star edge out of Georgia

The Florida State Seminoles are continuing their hot streak in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, three-star edge Jaxon Holly has committed to FSU over the Auburn Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies after taking his official visit.

Holly mentioned before his trip that the Seminoles could lock him up with a strong visit, and they’ve done just that. He’s he 10th commitment for Florida State in the cycle and their fifth in the last week, with three being blue-chip recruits. He joins four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro and three-star defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr. in the trenches.

Snagging Holly also keeps FSU’s momentum in Peach State going. They also got commitments from four-star wide receiver Sean Green, four-star linebacker Jernard Albright, and three-star linebacker Olrick Johnson III over the last seven days.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder had a very solid junior year at Alpharetta High School. He logged 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, 12 quarterback hurries, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups.

Holly is the No. 611 overall player and the No. 63 edge per Rivals’ industry rankings. In the state of Georgia, he’s the No. 73 prospect.

Florida State also has a prediction to land four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune, which would bolster their 2027 class greatly.
