Colorado football picked up more recruiting momentum Sunday morning with two more class of 2027 commitments.
Three-star edge rusher Drew Sapp and unranked interior offensive lineman Jayin Talib both announced their commitment to Deion Sanders' Buffs.
Sapp held a Crystal Ball prediction for CU and was coming off an official visit on June 12. He chose the Buffaloes over Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt and several others.
247Sports ranks the Lakeland, Florida native as the No. 1350 overall recruit, the No. 103 edge and the No. 143 player from the state of Florida.
In 2025, he racked up 28 tackles for a loss and 13.5 sacks. Sapp becomes the Buffaloes' third edge rusher type to commit, joining Jovon Pulliam and Ba'Roc Willis.

Talib is not rated by 247Sports but held offers from Memphis, NC State and Texas Tech. He is the nephew of former NFL star Aqib Talib and the younger brother of defensive end Yamil Talib.
Colorado's 2027 total now stands at 16, topping 2026's 14. Overall, CU's class ranks No. 33 nationally and No. 4 in the Big 12.
