Lansdale, Pennsylvania, offensive lineman Terrance Smith has committed to LSU. Smith chose the Tigers over Rutgers, Tennessee, and Auburn.

Smith is a 4-star offensive lineman who projects as a guard at the collegiate level. He is ranked as the No. 10 offensive lineman in the country and a Top-150 prospect overall.

Smith possesses good size and strength, along with the attitude you want to see from an offensive guard. He looks to get his hands on defenders and put them on their backs. He plays with a physical edge and consistently looks to drive defenders into the ground.

At 6’7″ and 290 pounds, Smith has the frame and athleticism to develop into a high-level offensive lineman. His relationship with offensive line coach Eric Wolford was a major factor in his recruitment.

Smith took his first official visit to LSU back in April and has been trending toward the Tigers ever since. Now that his commitment is official, he becomes another key addition to LSU’s 2027 class and the type of offensive lineman the staff hopes will help build the foundation of the program for years to come.

With Smith and Siale now in the fold, LSU is building a physical identity up front. Another offensive line commitment could be on the way, giving the Tigers a chance to assemble one of the nastiest offensive line classes in the 2027 cycle.

The Lane Train cannot be stopped now—it’s moving at full steam. Rumblings are already beginning about who will be the next prospect to climb aboard. Who do you think it will be, and is there a recruit you’d like to see LSU target? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
