We now know the start time for the Ohio State football game against Rutgers for the final home game of the season. As Buckeye fans have come to expect, the Buckeyes will welcome the Scarlet Knights to Ohio Stadium for a noon kickoff.
Ironically, the matchup with Rutgers will not be the site of Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff this week. Instead of traveling to Columbus, the pregame show will be heading to the Rocky Mountains in Provo, Utah, for the Cincinnati Bearcats at BYU.
After the announcement was made, there was some hope that Ohio State might get one more night game at the ‘Shoe, but to no avail. Even with some rain, the blowout win over UCLA under the lights did not disappoint.
So noon it is as seniors will be honored before the opening kick.

Sitting at 10-0, the Buckeyes continue to dominate opponents, whether at noon or at night. Rutgers will be the final tune-up before heading the Ann Arbor to face Michigan in The Game. Winning the national championship in 2024 took some of the sting away from losing to the Wolverines for a fourth straight year, but there is no doubt Ohio State fans want to finish out the season unblemished.
