Welcome back to Indiana Reacts, where we survey the fanbase to gauge their thoughts on certain topics around the Hoosiers. Today, we’re talking Curt Cignetti’s standing in the college football world and the recently scheduled men’s basketball exhibition game against UNC.
Cignetti recently flew all the way to the top of CBS Sports’ ranking of college football head coaches after Indiana’s 16-0 performance in 2025. There’s been some debate as to Cignetti’s standing among the top college football coaches given the program he inherited relative to other active coaches with titles like Ohio State’s Ryan Day and Georgia’s Kirby Smart
Indiana men’s basketball recently scheduled its second exhibition game in Indianapolis in as many years after playing Baylor this past season. The Hoosiers will take on North Carolina on Sunday, October 18, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
