Voting is free. The winner will be announced Nov. 21. Here are this week’s nominees:
Austin Gbadegbe, Newark Charter: Junior rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 win over St. Elizabeth in the Class 1A quarterfinals.
Isaiah Wright, Lake Forest: Sophomore rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-35 win over Archmere in the Class 2A quarterfinals.
Kahmaj Kearney, Smyrna: Senior rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-27 win over Caesar Rodney in the Class 3A quarterfinals.
Donald Payne, McKean: Senior caught three touchdown passes in a 22-21 win over Conrad in the Class 1A quarterfinals.
Desai Drummond, Appoquinimink: Senior passed for 293 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third TD in a 28-21 win over Caravel in the Class 3A quarterfinals.
