Freshman offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda enters his first season at Tennessee in 2026.
The 6-foot-8, 330-pound freshman enrolled early at Tennessee and participated in spring football practices. He committed to the Vols over Florida, Georgia, Minnesota and South Carolina. Tennessee offered the offensive lineman a scholarship on Feb. 26, 2024.
Osenda is from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He went to Baylor from Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.
Osenda was a five-star high school prospect and ranked as the No. 24 player nationally by 247Sports. He was named to the 2026 Polynesian Bowl roster and played in the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl as a junior.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.
