High School: Cardinal Newman

2025 stats:

Starting lineman and captain on a 10-3 Cardinal Newman team that made the state playoffs.

2026 projections:

Charney got here in time for spring practice which helps his transition to college football. However, the number of freshman lineman that see significant time is small, so look for Charney to redshirt this season as he continues his development.

Committed to Syracuse over offers from South Florida, Marshall, and Georgia State among others.
