LSU football's been red hot on the recruiting trail in recent weeks. The Tigers bolstered their class and LSU's 2027 group now ranks No. 9 in the country, per the Rivals Industry Rankings. The Tigers have 13 commits, 10 of which are blue-chip prospects.

Earlier this week, LSU secured its first two offensive linemen of the class, picking up commitments from four-star Terrance Smith and three-star Amaziah Siale. LSU went out of state for both, dipping into Pennsylvania for Smith and Hawai'i for Siale.

LSU is far from done at the position. New offensive line coaches Eric Wolford and James Cregg are building momentum with a handful of talented prospects. Even in the age of the transfer portal, it's critical to land blue-chip offensive linemen from the high school level. There just aren't enough to find in the portal.

Here are three offensive line prospects LSU football fans should keep an eye on.

Albert Simien, Five-Star Guard

Simien is one of the top players in the 2027 class. The 247Sports Composite ranks Simien No. 14 overall prospect in the nation, and the No. 2 overall interior offensive lineman. He's a Louisiana prospect, which makes him a top priority for the Tigers. LSU doesn't like to watch five-stars leave the state.

Texas A&M is considered the leader for Simien's services, and the Aggies have had some success in Louisiana before. But LSU won't quit, and there's a strong precedent for LSU making late moves with home-grown prospects.

Simien would be a massive get for LSU. He's a high-floor, high-ceiling player who can push for playing time as a freshman.

Kelsey Adams, Four-Star Tackle

Adams, an Atlanta-area product, is committed to Georgia. But there's been plenty of talk about an impending flip to LSU. Per the Rivals Industry Rankings, Adams is the No. 137-ranked prospect in the country, No. 12 offensive tackle, and No. 10 in the state of Georgia. ESPN ranks Adams the highest, ranking him No. 10 at his position.

Rivals Prediction Machine has LSU as the favorite for Adams' services, giving the Tigers a 77.6% chance. All signs indicate LSU should feel good about its chances with Adams. The 247Sports Crystal Ball also favors LSU, with two analysts predicting LSU as the destination. At 6-foot-5, already approaching 300 pounds, Adams has the size and tools to play tackle in the SEC.

Kal-El Johnson, Four-Star Tackle

Johnson remains uncommitted, but LSU is a strong contender. Rivals ranks Johnson as the No. 207 overall prospect in the class and the No. 17 offensive tackle. The Rivals Prediction Machine lists Georgia Tech as the favorite with an 83% chance to land the Ohio prospect. But Johnson has taken multiple visits to Baton Rouge and LSU has more resources to throw around than Georgia Tech.

Johnson is a bit of a raw prospect, but he's got size and athleticism. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him climb the recruiting rankings during his senior campaign.
