Redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Ory Williams enters his first season at Tennessee in 2026. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-8, 330-pound offensive lineman transferred to the Vols from LSU. Williams appeared in 13 games, including two starts, for the Tigers from 2024-25. His two starts were against Arkansas and Western Kentucky in 2025.
Williams appeared in one contest during the 2024 season, playing one snap at Arkansas, and earned a redshirt as a freshman.
He went to LSU from San Marcos High School in San Marcos, Texas. Williams also played basketball at San Marcos.
Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee discussed Williams during spring football practices.
“Super talented guy,” Elarbee said. “Great foot speed, length, really intelligent, understands what we’re trying to do schematically. I’m probably on his butt about some physicality in the run game a little bit. I think he did that today. He kind of rose to that challenge.
“I’m excited. He’s a fun guy to be around, has a great, positive attitude, fun in the meeting room. With the guys, he’s come in and hasn’t skipped a beat. I’m looking forward to continuing to see where we can push him, where we can get him to and how he can help us.”
