Now that the Washington Huskies coaching staff can make direct contact with the 2028 class, some of Jedd Fisch's early targets are becoming clear.

Among the prospects offensive line coach Michael Switzer has his eye on is interior lineman Jordan Henry, a product of Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Detroit, Michigan. While the 6-foot-4, 315-pound rising junior is still unranked by both 247Sports and Rivals, he's generated a significant amount of interest on the recruiting trail.

Henry holds 15 offers, with Georgia Tech, Missouri, and Memphis among the programs also in pursuit of his services, and he could see several more Power Four offers roll in during the upcoming evaluation periods, as Michigan State has shown interest in the powerful offensive lineman.

On film, one of the most valuable things that Henry shows early in his career is experience at center, which is something Washington has heavily coveted in the 2027 class with its pursuit of four-star commit Reis Russell. While Henry doesn't have the same level of explosiveness off the line as the product of Valor Christian High School in Colorado, he shows similar strength and fluidity as an athlete.

When Henry gets moving in the open field on screen plays, he becomes an overwhelming presence. He shows a great feel for the play developing in front of him, with a great understanding of how to climb to the second level, along with good physicality in pass protection.

The Huskies also made a strong push for three-star 2027 center Tristan Dare before he committed to Missouri, and should be looking to continue adding depth in the middle of the offensive front in the 2028 class.
