Sanford Stadium has been named among the toughest places to play in EA Sports’ College Football 27. Last season, the Alabama Crimson Tide ended the Georgia Bulldogs‘ historic 33-game home winning streak, but the Bulldogs bounced back with home wins over College Football Playoff contenders Ole Miss and Texas to end the season.
Sanford Stadium is the fourth-hardest place to play in College Football 27 behind No. 3 Beaver Stadium (Penn State), No. 2 Ohio Stadium (Ohio State) and No. 1 Tiger Stadium (LSU). Interestingly, LSU is ranked as the toughest place to play despite the Tigers having back-to-back seasons with a home loss where they allowed over 40 points. There’s no denying that Tiger Stadium at night is among the toughest places to play in college football, but their product on the field has not helped the atmosphere be intimidating.
Ten SEC stadiums made the top 20 toughest places to play. That shouldn’t be a surprise because the SEC is home to 10 of college football’s 18 biggest stadiums.
College Football 27 will be released on July 9 with some players able to access the game earlier on July 2.
