Despite what the dek for today says, Caleb Brewer is another player on this week’s portion of the countdown that started on the offensive side of the ball. Brewer signed with the Nittany Lions in December 2023 as an offensive tackle, but the combination of not seeing any game action in 2024 or 2025 and the arrival of new defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn, the 6’4” 295 pounder now finds himself on the defensive side of the ball as a defensive tackle.

The redshirt sophomore joins the defensive tackle room and will provide important depth.
