Where Alabama sits in ESPN FPI rankings following home loss vs. Oklahoma

On Sunday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide learned their latest ranking in both the US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Poll following a 23-21 home loss against the Oklahoma Sooners.

A result which handed the Crimson Tide their second loss of the season, where does Alabama now sit in the latest ESPN Football Power Index (FPI) team rankings entering Week 13?

As of Monday, Nov. 17, Alabama has dropped two spots to the nation’s No. 6 team with a rating of 21.6, which is a change from last week where the Crimson Tide were ranked No. 4. The Crimson Tide’s rating last week was also 22.3.

ESPN’s FPI also currently gives Alabama a projected win/loss record 10.1-2.6, as well as a 37.6% chance to win out. Other percentages currently for Alabama include a 35.5% chance to win the SEC, 83.7% to make the CFP, 12.8% to make the national title game, and 6.1% to win it.

Sitting at 8-2 overall (6-1 SEC), Alabama now enters the final two weeks of the regular season faced with two must win games, the first of which comes at home in Week 13 against Eastern Illinois. Alabama will then travel to Auburn in Week 14 for what is shaping up to be a massive Iron Bowl matchup.
