2027 four-star defensive lineman decommits from Tennessee football

Four-star defensive lineman Kadin Fife decommitted from Tennessee, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect is from Cherokee County High School in Centre, Alabama. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 50 defensive lineman in the class and No. 19 player in Alabama.
Tennessee offered Fife a scholarship during a spring practice on March 10, 2025. He committed to the Vols on Nov. 21, 2025.
Miami was the first school to offer Fife a scholarship on Feb. 12, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include North Carolina, Alabama, Louisville, Georgia Tech, USC, Auburn, Memphis, Texas A&M, Penn State, Florida State, James Madison, UCF, Oklahoma, Maryland, Missouri, UNC Pembroke, Mississippi State, Purdue, Sacramento State, Ole Miss, Florida, Arkansas and Georgia.
Tennessee has 15 commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays, cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown, offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson and athlete Dayon Cooper.
