FSU's recruiting ranking after Sam LeJeune's commitment

While it is impressive that the FSU Seminoles have landed eight commitments in June, the best part is the caliber of player. Four of FSU’s highest-rated commits have pledged this month, giving some much-needed star power to their 2027 recruiting class.

The latest is four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune, who is now their highest-rated commit. He is ranked as the No. 119 overall player and No. 11 defensive lineman in the 147Sports composite. He is also the No. 5 player from Mississippi and was one of their top targets, regardless of position.

He is their fourth commitment along the defensive line, joining three-star defensive lineman Eric Vaulx Jr., four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro, and three-star edge Jaxon Holly. Cavallaro is their fourth-highest-rated commit and looks like a strong fit in Tony White’s 3-3-5 scheme, just like LeJeune.

The Seminoles now have 13 total commitments and have the No. 53 recruiting class in the country according to the 247Sports team rankings. Here is how FSU’s recruiting class compares to the rest of the ACC.
