There are now 72 days until the start of the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats football season. As we count down the days until the first matchup, we're getting to know the players on this year's roster. Today we take a look at No. 72, Coleton Price.

Price is a 6'3", 308 lb center originally from Texas. As a recruit, he was rated three stars by 247Sports and ranked as the No. 987 overall player in the 2022 class based on their composite rankings, and he was the No. 52 interior offensive lineman. When it was time to choose a college, he elected to stay at home, and committed to Baylor.

He redshirted in 2022, then, in his first year of play, quickly took the starting center job. By his sophomore season, he was the full-time starter and a big part of a potent Baylor offense. As a junior, he was even better. He was on the Remington Trophy watch list, and would wind up being named to the All-Big 12 team. After the season, however, he entered the transfer portal and landed at Kentucky.

Price will be the starting center for the Wildcats, and will anchor their brand new offense under Will Stein. He was one of the offseason's biggest additions as they look to reconstruct their big blue wall. Based on his body of work so far, he will certainly help the Cats thrive.
