The Oregon Ducks seem to be having a pretty great time in Tokyo.

Over the past few days, we’ve seen Dan Lanning, Dante Moore, Dakorien Moore, Jamari Johnson, Dierre Hill, Jordon Davison, Jeremiah McClellan, and Evan Stewart traipsing around Japan as they get set for the Tokyo-Oregon Football Showcase. This included going out to see the billboards of Dante Moore downtown, as his Heisman campaign is officially launched, with the help of Godzilla and the inflatable Duck.

Over the weekend, though, the players finally took the field and showed what they could do playing American football, and they did so with great fan support.

A video from the Ducks shows the players walking to the field amid cheering fans, with large crowds around and many people wearing Oregon jerseys and green-and-yellow shirts. There are big cheers after big plays, and afterward, players and coaches signed autographs for fans.

It was then that we heard one of the best recruiting pitches that the Ducks can take from this entire trip. It comes from a fan wearing a No. 5 “Grateful Ducks” autographed jersey and saying, “Dante Moore: famous in the states, famous in Japan.”

Who wouldn’t want to be part of a team that makes that possible?
