Tennessee football offers son of former Washington wide receiver

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2029 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to 2029 wide receiver Rush Williams.
“I am excited to share that I have earned an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Williams announced. “I appreciate the motivation coach Deonte’ Cruse and I can’t wait to learn more about Vol football.”
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wide receiver is from Jordan High School in Fulshear, Texas. He does not have rankings from 247Sports.
Williams has Power Four scholarship offers from SMU, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas, TCU, Oregon, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Houston, Duke, Colorado and Alabama.
His father is former Washington wide receiver Reggie Williams. He was selected in the first round of the NFL draft by Jacksonville in 2004 (No. 9 overall). Reggie Williams played for the Jaguars from 2004-08.
Tennessee does not have a commitment for its 2028 and 2029 recruiting classes.
