Chris Henry Jr. Shows Support for Ohio State's 5-Star WR Commit Jett Harrison

The Ohio State Buckeyes are expected to rely on some young talent going into the 2026 college football season. With 11 players leaving in the 2026 NFL Draft and an additional 31 hitting the transfer portal, the Buckeyes lost a handful of talent this offseason.
Among their most intriguing incoming freshman is wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. He was the top wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class, per Rivals Industry Rankings. Head coach Ryan Day stated that Henry should aim to be a day-one starter.
Of course, he is hoping to join a lineage of great Ohio State wide receivers, such as Emeka Egbuka, Marvin Harrison Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, who have all been first-round picks since 2022.
However, he’s certainly not the last wideout the Buckeyes are planning on developing into a star. On Wednesday, Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett reported that Ryan Day and his staff received a commitment from Jett Harrison, out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
As the younger brother of former Buckeye Marvin Harrison Jr, the announcement quickly caught the attention of many in the college football world, including Henry.
He showed support for Harrison, commenting, “Let’s do it brother.”
This is a major addition for Ohio State. In the 2028 recruiting class, Harrison is a five-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the nation, per Rivals Industry Rankings. He chose the Buckeyes over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Oregon Ducks and Miami Hurricanes.
He won’t be playing for the Buckeyes until the 2028 season, but that does mean he and Henry will have at least one season together. Their pairing could give Buckeyes fans a highly anticipated duo for the future.
