Caleb Brewer was originally recruited to play on the offensive line for Penn State in the Class of 2024. The three-star athlete was on Penn State’s radar early on in the recruiting process, and he received a Penn State offer in January 2023. He committed to Penn State a few months later in April 2023. Brewer committed to Penn State over offers from Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Maryland, Nebraska, South Carolina, and more.
Career Stats
Caleb Brewer has not appeared in a game for Penn State after his first two seasons in Happy Valley. Brewer redshirted his true freshman season of 2024 and did not see any game action during the 2025 season. Brewer was recognized as the coaching staff’s developmental squad offensive player of the week during the Ohio State week.
Depth Chart Overview
After starting his college career on the offensive line, Caleb Brewer switched to the defensive side ahead of the 2026 season. Despite switching positions, it is still looking as though Caleb Brewer will be a deeper reserve on the depth chart at the defensive tackle position. The defensive tackle position appears to be led by Armstrong Nnodium, Keanu Williams, and Siale Taupaki going into the 2026 season.

Caleb Brewer was a four-year letterman in wrestling and an all-state heavyweight. He also qualified for the district championships in shot put for his high school’s track and field team.
