Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin is rumored to have an “ultimatum” to make a decision as to if he’s staying in Oxford or leaving for another opportunity (as in, LSU or Florida) before the annual Nov. 28 Egg Bowl game.
However, Kiffin denied this being the case on Tuesday’s Pat McAffee Show, saying that there was not truth to the rumor that he has to choose his future before this year’s Egg Bowl.
If Kiffin is telling the truth, that might put Ole Miss fans briefly at ease over losing one of the best coaches in the program’s history. However, Kiffin isn’t technically going to come out and say it’s true, either, even if it is.
With Kiffin’s family recently visiting Gainesville and Baton Rouge, the Kiffin rumors aren’t going to die down anytime soon.

However, the hubbub about Kiffin’s future will continue on, as expected, until he makes a decision.
