Get to know the Kentucky football roster: No. 61 Jason Ekperuoh

Anticipation continues to build for the first Kentucky Wildcats football season under new head coach Will Stein. We are counting down the days until their first game, and there are now 61 days left. As we count them down, we're getting to know the roster, and today we are taking a closer look at No. 61, Jason Ekperuoh.

Ekperuoh is a massive 6'6", 354 lb offensive lineman originally from Quebec who played high school football in Tennessee. He was rated three stars by 247Sports and ranked as their No. 234 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class.

There was interest from other schools, but Ekperuoh ultimately decided to commit to Kentucky. He redshirted as a freshman, and then decided to stay with the Wildcats through the coaching change this offseason.

Stein has a rebuilt offensive line for this season, and Ekperuoh will provide depth. However, going forward, Kentucky's coaches will be looking for guys to step up and into starting roles. Ekperuoh will be given a chance to do just that in the future.
