Royal plays for Brother Martin High School in New Orleans and has been committed to the Longhorns, but the Tigers continue to make an impression on the 5’11”, 214 lb standout whose social media post quickly caught the attention of fans. Most importantly, the post serves as another reminder that LSU remains firmly in the conversation for the elite in-state talent.

The Tigers have made keeping Louisiana’s top prospects at home a priority, and Royal is among the biggest names in the 2027 cycle. For now, he remains committed to Texas, but his latest social media activity is likely to fuel speculation as his recruitment continues.
