TV, commentators for Georgia football vs. Charlotte

The Georgia Bulldogs host the Charlotte 49ers for Georgia's senior day on Saturday, Nov. 22. Georgia is 9-1 and is looking to a punch a ticket to the College Football Playoff. Georgia plays a Charlotte team that is in the middle of a 1-9 nightmare. Charlotte is winless against Power Four opponents since 2021 and has not beaten a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team since 2024.

Former Georgia coach Jim Donnan described Charlotte as a team that "he can't put lipstick on a pig" because of how much they've struggled. The 49ers have loss all of their nine games against FBS competition this season by double digits and have not scored over 27 points against an FBS opponent.

Georgia definitely has struggled at times this season against lesser opponents. The Bulldogs did not pile on points against Austin Peay or even Marshall earlier this year. However, Georgia is playing their best football of the season right now. Georgia has put together back-to-back impressive performances in 20-point plus wins over Mississippi State and Texas.

"We're worried about Charlotte, so we're focused on them," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said ahead of the Charlotte game. "We're getting ready for those guys, and that's who we'll prepare for. Next week, we'll have a plan for the following week, in terms of people breaking things down. It's not a difficult time because we're worried about getting better."

The Georgia-Charlotte game will be televised on SEC Network. Taylor Zarzour (play-by-play), former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb (analyst) and Alyssa Lang (sideline) will cover the game.
