Deion Sanders not 'paid enough' to be in EA Sports College Football 27

The upcoming release of EA Sports College Football 27 has entranced the college football world. With early access opening last week, we learned that Colorado head coach Deion Sanders will once again not be in the game.

At Big 12 Football Media Days on Tuesday, Sanders was asked why his likeness was not in the game, and he gave a predictable Coach Prime answer.

“If I’m not in the game, they’re probably not paying enough,” Sanders said. “It was probably just that simplistic.”

Coach Prime is a noted marketing and business savant and does not do endorsement deals just for the sake of it. He usually needs to be appropriately compensated, and that obviously was not the case with EA Sports.

Sanders is joined by Miami’s Mario Cristobal, North Carolina’s Bill Belichick, Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz, Utah State’s Bronco Mendenhall, Southern Miss’s Blake Anderson and North Texas’ Neal Brown.

Deion Sanders and Colorado fans, hoping to build a video game dynasty around Coach Prime, will have to use a generic coach instead.
