The Wisconsin Badgers received glowing reviews in Phil Steele's 2026 College Football Preview magazine.
The longtime writer and analyst took the time to compile 370+ pages ahead of the 2026 season, one that has massive implications for Luke Fickell.
Steele's magazine has sub-headlines that include: "book the experts cannot do without" and "the most accurate magazine over the last 31 years."
That's not to say he can predict the future, but Badgers fans will be thrilled to know he projects UW's running back room to be the most improved in the entire country.
While he only sees the Badgers tied for 12th in the Big Ten, he's still giving Fickell the benefit of the doubt, which includes the team returning to a bowl game.
Speaking of No. 12, that's the spot Steele sees Wisconsin in when it comes to the most improved teams across the country.
Steele expects the team's quarterback play to be "vastly improved", along with "a much improved secondary."
