The Alabama Crimson Tide's 2028 class continues to roll on the recruiting trail, reportedly picking up a commitment from Anthony Blalock Jr. on Monday, per Rivals' Hayes Fawcett.

Blalock is the sixth commitment in Alabama's 2028 class, as well as the third so far this month alone. The Crimson Tide's class also ranks No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports.

A talented interior offensive lineman, Blalock currently ranks as the nation's No. 204 overall prospect, as well as the No. 12 player at his position, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Rated as a four-star recruit, Blalock also ranks as the No. 6 prospect in the state of Ohio where he attends Fitch High School.

Blalock is now Alabama's first offensive line prospect committed in the 2028 cycle, and his decision only continues the momentum which the Crimson Tide currently have on the recruiting trail. The positional breakdown of the class is now two quarterbacks, one offensive lineman, two linebackers, and one cornerback.
