In Jedd Fisch's first two seasons at the helm of the Washington Huskies, the program has harbored one of the nation's most explosive offenses.

In 2025, the Huskies ranked No. 5 in the Big Ten with 198 plays of 10-plus yards, while they also ranked No. 4 in the conference in plays of over 20 yards with 73. Throughout his career as a head coach between Arizona and Washington, Fisch has proven that his offensive scheme is extremely effective, and that showed up in his second year on Montlake when the offensive line improved.

The Huskies finished No. 4 in the conference in points per game, averaging 34.1, and No. 5 in total offense, picking up 409.9 yards per game. With proof that the scheme works, Fisch and quarterback Demond Williams Jr. will be looking for new playmakers to step up in 2025.

Not only is Washington losing its top two running backs, with Jonah Coleman off to the NFL and Adam Mohammed choosing to hit the transfer portal and make the move to the California Golden Bears, but Williams will also have a largely new group of pass catchers around him after leading receiver Denzel Boston made the jump to the NFL.

Behind Freshman All-American receiver Dezmen Roebuck, Fisch is hoping to get contributions from several players at the position, including veterans Rashid Williams and Christian Moss. Position coach Kevin Cummings also brought in a trio of four-star receivers in the 2026 class in Jordan Clay, Trez Davis, and Mason James, all of whom made an impact during spring practice and could work their way into the rotation this fall.

At running back, there are plenty of questions that still need to be answered. Senior transfers Trey Cooley and Jayden Limar both missed spring practice with injuries, while explosive sophomore Jordan Washington suffered a neck injury early in camp, leaving room for redshirt freshman Quaid Carr and true freshman Brian Bonner, both of whom showed off high-end speed during their first spring camp, to make an impression.

If the Huskies can continue to create big plays with a new supporting cast around Williams, they should be able to remain close to the top of college football's leaderboards in most major offensive categories.
