FSU's 2028 recruiting class ranking after Troy Silberzahn's commitment

It is extremely early, but the FSU Seminoles already have two commitments in their 2028 recruiting class. Three-star athlete Chayse Brown committed in June, and three-star tight end Troy Silberzahn did so on Wednesday, giving them one of the best classes in the country.
Silberzahn is from Melbourne, Florida, and had over a dozen scholarship offers, including ones from the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes. While he can not sign with the Seminoles for quite some time, it is a good early win for tight end coach Chris Thomsen.
He is ranked as the No. 538 overall player and No. 22 tight end in the 247Sports composite. He is the No. 3 tight end in Florida.
A good athlete, he did a little bit of everything on offense for Cocoa High School as a sophomore. He caught 14 passes for 141 yards and one touchdown, rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, and completed 8 of his 22 passes for 96 yards and three touchdowns.
With Silberzahn officially committed, FSU now has two commitments and a top 10 recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sports. Here is how FSU’s recruiting class compares to the best classes in the country.
