The influencer Nara Smith says Whimsy has completed treatment and is now in remission after an eight-month battle with cancer.

Nara Smith has shared encouraging news about her daughter, Whimsy Lou. The influencer revealed that the 2-year-old is now in remission after months of cancer treatment and says her family is focused on helping others facing similar journeys.

The influencer shared the update in an emotional Instagram video, saying she and husband Lucky Blue Smith waited until treatment was complete before speaking publicly about their daughter’s diagnosis. “We wanted to wait until she is done with treatment,” Nara said. “Now that she’s finally in remission, it felt like I could find the words to share.”

Nara Smith first revealed earlier this month that Whimsy had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in late 2025. According to E News, The couple chose to keep the diagnosis private while their daughter underwent treatment. She said the experience changed how they view childhood cancer and the financial challenges many families face.

“Going through chemo treatments opened my eyes to how expensive medical care is, and what a toll it takes on families specifically,” she explained.

To help, Nara Smith has created a GoFundMe page that highlights fundraising campaigns for families with children receiving cancer treatment. She said she is also researching charities and organizations that support children battling cancer. The 24-year-old said she and Lucky are still adjusting to life after treatment.

“Lucky and I have been trying to return to everyday life and taking it day by day,” she said. “I don’t know whether life will ever feel normal again.”

Nara also thanked supporters for the messages, prayers and encouragement her family has received since sharing Whimsy’s diagnosis. She ended her message by sending love to families still facing childhood cancer, saying she hopes their story reminds others they are not alone.

Earlier this month, Nara Smith shared one of the most emotional moments of Whimsy’s treatment, revealing they shaved her daughter’s hair after chemotherapy caused it to fall out. She recently told followers that Whimsy’s curls are beginning to grow back.
