Eight Wisconsin football players listed in East-West Shrine Bowl 1000

Looking ahead to the 2027 Shriners Children's East-West Bowl, there are numerous Wisconsin Badgers who could be in contention to make an appearance.

As of July 20, 1,000 college football players were identified as potential candidates. With the season seemingly right around the corner, it's only a matter of time before these eight Badgers are able to make a case for themselves.

Of the 1,000 players listed across the country, Wisconsin made up 0.8% of the list. That may not seem like a lot, but at the end of the day, it's important to note that they even had players listed to begin with. Coming off back-to-back non-bowl-eligible seasons, these eight could help get the Badgers back on track.
