1999 was a wild year for Notre Dame football — mostly because the Irish had a terrible season. they started 1-3 in their first four games and finished 0-4 in their last 4 games. Sandwiched in between were some insane wins. The Irish had two incredible comeback wins at home against Oklahoma and USC, and they were truly the only bright spots for the year.
