Southeastern Conference football media days were held Monday through Thursday at JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott Water Street in Tampa, Florida.
Following the conclusion of media days, the SEC released its preseason order of finish for the 2026 campaign. Projections are based on a poll from media covering SEC media days.
Tennessee is projected to finish eighth in the SEC.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season on Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.
