3 Georgia football players named to preseason All-SEC team

The Georgia Bulldogs have three players on USA TODAY Sports' preseason All-SEC team. Georgia is also predicted to finish second in the SEC behind the Texas Longhorns, who have the most All-SEC players with five.
Georgia (six) and Texas (nine) were the only two teams to receive first-place votes to win the SEC among all 15 USA TODAY journalists that were polled. Georgia and Texas do not meet during the 2026 college football season, but Georgia is 3-0 against the Longhorns since Texas joined the SEC including an overtime win over Texas in the 2024 SEC championship.
Georgia center Drew Bobo, who is recovering from a significant foot injury, safety KJ Bolden and cornerback Ellis Robinson all made the USA TODAY All-SEC team.
The USA TODAY All-SEC team includes only a first-team. Notable Georgia offensive players left off the team include quarterback Gunner Stockton, running back Nate Frazier, tight end Lawson Luckie and offensive tackle Earnest Greene. Georgia defensive players snubbed include defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, linebackers Raylen Wilson and Chris Cole. Georgia kicker Peyton Woodring also did not make the team.
