Tennessee football offers 2029 Oklahoma City offensive tackle

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2029 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to offensive tackle Jax Wilkerson.
“Blessed to receive an offer from Vol football,” Wilkerson announced.
The 6-foot-7, 295-pound prospect is from Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has not earned any recruiting rankings on 247Sports or Rivals.
Oklahoma State was the first school to offer Wilkerson a scholarship on June 10, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Tulsa, Kansas State, Texas Tech, TCU, Ole Miss, Utah, Missouri, Iowa State, SMU, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2028 recruiting class.
The Vols have 18 commitments in their 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays, cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown, offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson, athlete Dayon Cooper, safety Marcus Jones, offensive tackle Niko Kampas and running back David Gabriel Georges.
