Tennessee tight end Miles Kitselman will miss the Florida game after suffering a leg injury in the Vols' 42-9 win over New Mexico State on Nov. 15.

Kitselman is listed as out on the SEC availability report, which was released on Nov. 19.

No. 20 Tennessee (7-3, 3-3 SEC) plays Florida (3-7, 2-5) in Gainesville on Nov. 22 (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC). It finishes the regular season at home against No. 13 Vanderbilt (8-2, 4-2) on Nov. 29 (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC or ESPN).

Kitselman is a fifth-year senior with no eligibility remaining. He played one season at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, two seasons at Alabama and two seasons at Tennessee. He got to play the 2025 season only because the NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility to former junior college players.

Kitselman made 25 receptions for 250 yards and two TDs this season. He started all 23 games for the Vols the past two seasons.

In the third quarter of the New Mexico State game on Nov. 15, Kitselman suffered the injury when UT running back Peyton Lewis collided with him near the goal line. When Lewis dove toward the end zone, he struck the left leg of Kitselman, who was locked into a block on the play.

Kitselman was helped off the field by athletic trainers. After the game, he wore a heavy brace on his left leg.

Lewis was also injured in the New Mexico State game. He was listed as questionable on the SEC availability report for the Florida game.

Here's who replaces Miles Kitselman against Florida

Fortunately, Tennessee has other options at tight end. And they'll provide a potential preview of next season when the Vols were going to have to move on from Kitselman.

Ethan Davis missed four consecutive games at midseason with an injury. But he has eight catches for 99 yards and one TD in the past three games since returning.

Freshman Jack Van Dorselaer has three catches for 10 yards and one TD. And he's served a role as a blocker in UT's rushing offense.

Freshman DaSaahn Brame has five catches for 54 yards. He has spent time in the slot, but he could play more of a traditional tight end role with Kitselman out.
