Elite in-state DL sets game visit with Florida State

2028 four-star defensive lineman Zylen Little had a busy summer of unofficial visits. He recently named the programs that are currently at the top of his recruitment last week, and the Florida State Seminoles were in that select group.
He's taken things a step further, according to Zach Blostein of 247Sports. Little has locked in seven game visits during the 2026 season. He will come to Tallahassee on Oct. 3 when FSU plays the Virginia Cavaliers. This will be Little's second game visit to Florida State, as he did the same last season when he attended the game against the Miami Hurricanes.
Little is the No. 184 overall prospect in the country and the No. 21 defensive lineman per 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Florida, he's ranked as the No. 24 player.
The sophomore campaign that Little had at Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa is why his recruitment has picked up in 2026. He was able to log 61 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one pass breakup.
FSU has been able to establish a strong relationship with Little through defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, defensive coordinator Tony White, and head coach Mike Norvell. Getting him on campus for a big ACC game could work in their favor immensely if they're able to pull out a win.
Once Little named his top schools, it was critical for Florida State to get him on campus as soon as possible. He has other top suitors like the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indiana Hoosiers that are also pushing for him, which means they'll have to put their best foot forward once he arrives on campus.
