FSU pushing hard for in-state 2028 wide receiver

2028 wide receiver Treiy Crenshaw was one of 40 or 50 prospects from Alabama and Florida who gathered for an All Gas workout. He was one of the players who were named as standouts at the receiver position.

His recruitment is starting to pick up, and a few teams are pursuing him immensely. One of them is Florida State, according to Chad Simmons of Rivals.

Treiy Crenshaw made the move to South Walton (Fla.) this off-season, but was back for his training session on Sunday. He put himself on the map at this workout last year. He has grown, he has more confidence and he has become one of the top wide receivers in the Panhandle. Crenshaw has a big catch radius at 6-4, 190-pounds and schools like Florida State and West Virginia are pushing hard.

Crenshaw played at Douglas High School in Alabama last year. He had a solid season with 30 receptions for 565 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 18.8 yards per catch. Crenshaw also played some linebacker as well with 11 tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks, two quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He transferred to South Walton High School for his junior year in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Put Crenshaw's name on the list of players that FSU needs to lock in a visit with during the season. At the moment, he isn't a ranked prospect.
