Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season with three kickers on roster.
Josh Turbyville enters his fifth season with the Vols in 2026. From 2022-25, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound redshirt senior appeared in 40 contests.
Turbyville has totaled 15,616 kickoff yards on 247 attempts, including 198 touchbacks and nine kicks out of bounds.
In 2025, he recorded a season-best 5,294 kickoff yards. He totaled 5,228 yards in 2024, 5,029 yards in 2023 and 65 yards on one attempt as a freshman in 2022.
Turbyville also recorded a season-best 71 touchbacks last season after totaling 68 in 2024, 58 in 2023 and one during the 2023 campaign. He had six out-of-bounds kickoffs in 2023, two in 2024 and one in 2025.
Turbyville’s only field goal attempt at Tennessee was against UConn on Nov. 4, 2023. He converted a 33-yard field goal in the Vols’, 59-3, homecoming victory. Turbyville also converted 6-of-6 extra point attempts, including 3-for-3 in 2025.
Cooper Ranvier transferred to Tennessee from Louisville following the 2025 season. The 6-foot-2, 199-pound redshirt sophomore appeared in 14 games for the Cardinals from 2024-25.
Ranvier converted 21-of-25 field goal attempts and 40-of-42 extra point attempts. His longest made field goal was 51 yards at Louisville.
Ranvier converted 2-of-5 field goal attempts for 50-plus yards, while also converting 6-of-7 field goal attempts between 40-49 yards and 7-of-7 field goal attempts between 30-39 yards. He was 6-for-6 in attempts between 20-29 yards.
2026 will mark a second season at Tennessee for Grady Dangerfield.
The 6-foot, 215-pound redshirt freshman appeared in two games for the Vols in 2025. He recorded 257 yards and three touchbacks on four kickoff attempts against UAB and New Mexico State.
Against UAB on Sept. 20, 2025, Dangerfield had three kickoff attempts for 195 yards. He also totaled 62 kickoff yards on one attempt versus New Mexico State on Nov. 15, 2025.
