Phil Steele gives his top 2027 NFL Draft prospects

Recently, I sat down with the expert of all experts on college football, Phil Steele. During my interview, I asked him who he thought would be the top NFL Draft prospects coming out in 2027. Phil Steele is an American sports writer who specializes in college football and is an encyclopedia of college football knowledge.

He writes the annual "Phil Steele College Football Preview" magazine, and the publication has come to be known as the "College Football Bible." Steele was interviewed on the Hoodie Chroniclez Podcast on YouTube, hosted by yours truly. He stated that the 2027 NFL Draft class will be quarterback-heavy.

When asked about who he thinks will be at the top of the draft boards, he would say, "You gotta think that this is a QB-heavy class, so you have to lean on the quarterbacks right now. You've got guys like Arch Manning (Texas), naturally, Julian Sayin (Ohio State) is up there, Dante Moore (Oregon). I mean you've got quarterbacks galore."

He would also joke that "Now I will say that I live in Cleveland, and the Browns need a quarterback. It's a good year for them to need a quarterback because this draft class is phenomenal for that."
