Where Florida ranks in latest 2027 recruiting class rankings

As the summer recruiting stage comes to a close, Florida's attention will soon shift toward the 2026 season and its pursuit of rebuilding the program. Still, the Gators have built plenty of momentum on the recruiting trail, landing one of the nation's top 2027 classes.

Here's where Florida stands in ESPN's latest 2027 college football recruiting rankings.

There is no change in the rankings for Florida, as they still stand ranked No. 7. Out of the top 300 recruits on SportsCenter Next, the Gators have secured 12 of them, with the highest recruit being Maxwell Hiller, the tackle from Pennsylvania.

The Gators have hit the recruiting trail hard since Jon Sumrall arrived, securing the No. 1-ranked center Peyton Miller and offensive lineman Elijah Hutcheson. Sumrall did speak on the offensive line during the spring and summer and discussed how it wasn't where it needed to be to compete in the SEC.

More offensive additions were made on the trail, keeping Davin Davidson in the state of Florida. Davidson is a 6-foot-7-inch quarterback who is ranked 107th on SportsCenter Next. Running back Andrew Beard is another key addition on the offense, which was an emphasis in Sumrall's first offseason with the program.
