The 2026 college football season is right around the corner, which means it's time to examine the Oregon Ducks' roster.

Head coach Dan Lanning did an excellent job of retaining some of his top playmakers from the previous season, along with adding a couple of key veterans from the transfer portal to fill holes on both sides of the ball. However, the Ducks' best unit resides on offense, as the program's pass-catching unit is one of the best in all of college football heading into the upcoming season.

Here's everything you need to know about Oregon's top pass catchers for the 2026 season.

Oregon's Incredible Pass Catching Unit

One of the largest departures from the program this offseason was star tight end Kenyon Sadiq. The highly-touted weapon was selected in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but luckily for Lanning and the Ducks, fellow tight end Jamari Johnson is the perfect replacement for Sadiq this season.

After spending two seasons with the Louisville Cardinals, Johnson transferred to Oregon for the 2025 season. While playing behind Sadiq, the 6-foot-5, 257 lbs. matchup nightmare recorded 510 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 32 receptions. Johnson's impressive run last year caught the attention of many NFL scouts, and the talented offensive weapon will be a key piece of quarterback Dante Moore's success in 2026.

Outside of the tight end position, the Ducks' pass-catching core has multiple returners for the upcoming season, including sophomores Dakorien Moore and Jeremiah McClellan.

The young wideout duo showed plenty of flashes as freshmen in 2025, combining for 1,045 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 72 receptions. Oregon will also be without its top receiving threat from last season, Malik Benson, but his absence will allow both Moore and McClellan to thrive this season.

Oregon also possesses an under-the-radar wideout in senior Evan Stewart, who missed the entire 2025 season due to an injury. In 2024, Stewart was a prominent weapon for former quarterback Dillon Gabriel, recording 48 receptions for 613 receiving yards and five touchdowns. While the combination of Moore and McClellan would be more than sufficient for the Ducks' offense in 2026, the return of Stewart to the offense provides not only depth to the position, but another veteran receiving threat on the perimeter.
