The 2026 football season for the Auburn Tigers is on the horizon. As we anticipate the start of the season, let's introduce you to a key member of the 2026 roster.
Offensive tackle Jacob Strand joins the Tigers' roster after playing four seasons at Oregon State, where he played in a total of 18 games. Given an 88.20 transfer portal rating, according to Rivals, Strand looks to bring veteran presence to the offensive line room.
He started at left tackle for Oregon State last season in six games and had a total of 353 snaps. Pro Football Focus graded him a 64.6. In 2023, he made two starts out of six games he played in, with those two starts being against Oregon and Notre Dame.
Strand redshirted his freshman season after playing three games. Coming out of Canby High School in Canby, Oregon as a three-star prospect and the No. 9 player in the state of Oregon, according to 247Sports.
